English Martyrs Church was first opened on 4 May 1894, the feast day of the Blessed Martyrs of England and Wales. Today the parish reflects the diversity of the Borough of Lambeth in which it is situated. As a parish we welcome people from all over the world and everyone is invited to play a part in parish life. Our main priority is to offer Welcome through our Liturgy and catechises.
In 2007 we are making a major effort to transform our parish facilities for the benefit of our parishioners and the local community.
Fr Gerard Mulvihill was appointed Parish Priest in September 1989.
