The Parish and Community Building Project
For some time now the Parish has been planning a major redevelopment of the premises. The church itself is beautiful and well maintained, with high quality stone carvings and stained glass and an uplifting place in which to pray.
However, the presbytery, hall and adjacent buildings, which are heavily used by the parish and other groups, have been developed piecemeal over a period of time and no longer meet the needs of the parish, which have grown and changed over the years.
We now have planning consent for a scheme to demolish the ancillary buildings and replace them with a purpose built, accessible and inspiring facility which we can use for parish purposes and share with the wider community.

Building for the Future
We have an inspiring design which will make the best possible use of space and provide badly needed accessible facilities built to a high standard for parish and local community.
With the full backing of the diocese and planning consent granted we can now move on to the next crucial stage in earnest, raising the money!
As we enter this exciting phase of our building project, we are expanding our volunteer team to support with the many aspects of fundraising. We are looking for 25-30 people. Are you looking for an opportunity to give some time to the parish and be part of this fantastic project?
You will be giving your time and energy for about a six month period, for around half a day a week, working in a specific team. You will have energy and enthusiasm and will relish the chance to be part of a committed team who will be the driving force for this next stage of our Parish Building Project.
Please take a look here and see if there is some way in which you can help with this task. And then contact the Parish Office 020 8769 6268 asap,
or e-mail buldingproject@emchurch.org.uk
